Big Mountain Haus, ski in/out 8BD 5.5BA, Hot Tub & Dry Sauna! Sleeps 22!

We had a great time at this property. The host's communication was excellent from start to finish. Derek was quick to respond and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. We ran into a brief wi-fi hiccup caused by a local power blip in the area, but Derek got it sorted out super fast.The view from the property was amazing, and the space itself was a great fit for our 4-family crew. There was plenty of room for everyone to gather together, but also enough separation that each family could have their own privacy when we wanted it. That balance made the whole trip feel relaxed and easy.We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, well-managed place with a great view.

We had 8 guys to play 3 days in Whitefish area and wanted a place that could handle 8 players in their own rooms. This worked out great! The house is amazing. It was also nice to have a hot tub to relax in after a day of golf. We never cooked there but there is everything that you would need for an extended stay. I have booked a lot of places and this was the best communication with a host EVER! We have such a good time and the house was perfect. We will be doing this trip again and booking here.

Beautiful well appointed home with 3 king sized beds, 2 bunk rooms, and more bedrooms. We had ample space for our group of 15. Enjoyed the ping pong table, foosball table and electronic games. The hot tub and dry sauna were fan favorites. The owner, Derek, brought us another table for games , a hand mixer and salad spinner which we used a lot. He was very accomidating. It was a 10 experience.

Our family of 20, ages 3 to 80, stayed at Big Haus from June 21–28, 2026, and it exceeded every expectation. The home is immaculate, spacious, and perfect for large, multi-generational groups, with great gathering spaces and an ideal location near Whitefish Mountain Resort, Glacier National Park, and downtown. We also appreciated the peaceful neighborhood quiet hours.What truly sets this property apart is Derek. We've stayed in many vacation rentals, and we've never had a better host. Before our trip, he shared invaluable local knowledge that made planning easy. During our stay, he responded immediately to every need, delivering a larger pan for our group, replacing a broken can opener, and even providing a hiking backpack after we accidentally left ours behind.The greatest gift was arriving to a fully stocked house. Grocery shopping for 20 after a full day of travel had been my biggest stress, and Derek took care of it all. Walking in and being able to simply enjoy time together made the perfect start to our vacation.Big Haus is an exceptional home, but Derek's hospitality makes it unforgettable. He is responsive, proactive, and genuinely cares about his guests. I would gladly stay at any property Derek owns anywhere in the world. Book with confidence—you won't find a better host.

The location was great, the home itself perfect for our family of 16, clean and well equipped. Our host was easy to communicate with, offered recommendations as requested and helpful hints. If we come back to Montana will definitely be back.
